Spread Hope with a Simple Tote
One of the most common questions our Street Outreach team gets is, “Do you have any hygiene kits?” When we can say, “Yes” and hand over a Hope Tote, that’s when relationships start, trust is established, and hope begins.
What is a Hope Tote?
A Hope Tote is a bag full of specially selected hygiene items that our neighbors on the streets need the most. Every day, our Street Outreach team hands out dozens of “Hope Tote” hygiene kits!
Gather Supplies
For the following items, we recommend filling a gallon-sized Ziploc bag with new, travel-size items.
Host a Packing Party (or pack individually)
Packing Hope Totes is a great activity for all ages! Grab a group, divide the list, plan to meet, and have fun packing.
Drop Off Totes
Completed Totes Can be dropped off at our Donation Warehouse located at: 2515 N. 34th Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85009, Monday through Friday 7:30a-3:30p.
Street Team Delivers to Those in Need
Our Street Outreach team will take your Hope Totes directly to our neighbors on the streets.
A Simple Bag Makes All the Difference
If simply walking up to someone on the street, introducing ourselves as Phoenix Rescue Mission, and inviting them to join our Residential Recovery Program was all it took to change lives, that would be great.
But that’s not typically how it works.
Our hurting neighbors need a reason to trust us. They need to see us showing up and meeting their needs so that they can see we are for them, not against them.
Hope Totes give us that opportunity.
They allow us to start conversations, begin relationships, and establish trust so that, in time, we can help people take the life-changing step to begin moving off the streets.
